ABOUT ME
I, Subrata Chatterjee, am a consultant oncologist. I am based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. I practice radiotherapy and chemotherapy in Kolkata. I cherish research interest in solid tumor malignancy.
From a very young age, I was fascinated by the status, stature, and moreover, the dedication of doctors in society. My sheer interest in Biological Sciences and deep respect for the medical profession, fuelled my aspirations of becoming a doctor.
Qualifying the Medical entrance with a good rank , I joined NRS Medical college as an MBBS student and then IPGME&R as an MD student.
After completing my post-graduation from IPGMER, I started serving the society as an Oncologist and had gone to Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, to refine my skills. I have also attended several conferences and workshops across the country to keep myself up-to-date with the current trends of this ever-changing science. Currently, I serve as the Head, Department of Rad. Oncology at Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, and working as a consultant oncologist in Kolkata.
